Vincennes City Parks To Reopen Friday

Vincennes City parks will be reopening on Friday, following Governor Holcomb’s announcement that parks, pools and other fitness facilities can reopen.

Vincennes Parks Superintendent Steve Beaman says shelter houses and restroom facilities will open tomorrow.

The pickleball courts at Gregg Park will also reopen, but with some restrictions.

Beaman says those restrictions include no switching sides during doubles matches, picking up the pickleball with a paddle, or using your foot.

Beaman says spectators are also reminded to practice social distancing.

He added signs will be on display through out the park reminding others to practice social distancing to use hand sanitizer.
