VPD arrest two after a joint narcotics investigation

Two Vincennes residents are behind bars after a search warrant was served.

The Vincennes Police Department report that 41-year-old Aaron Lee Neighbors and 40-year-old Janelle Leigh McMillian were both taking into custody on July 9th on multiple charges.

The VPD Detective Division and the Pike County Sheriff’s Office conducted the search at 134 East Swartzel Ave, where they found nearly an ounce of methamphetamine, as well as marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Two firearms were also seized from the residence.

Neighbors was arrested for Dealing Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Paraphernalia.

McMillian was arrested for Maintaining a Common Nuisance.

Both subjects are being held at the Knox County Jail.

Agencies involved with the investigation include Pike County Sheriff’s Office, Knox County Prosecutor’s Office, Knox County High Tech Crime Unit, and the Knox County Superior 2 Court.
