The Jackson County Learning Center has reached a milestone in its workforce training partnership with Vincennes University.
Howard Ledbetter has become the 100th person to take part in training at the center since November of 2023.
Ledbetter recently completed electrical training. He says he started the class with no background in electrical systems and came away with skills that have already helped him both at work and at home.
Training at the center is led by VU Site Director and instructor Brian Sawyers.
Vincennes University works with area employers to provide basic and intermediate mechanical and electrical training at the Jackson County facility.
