Nominations are now being accepted for the 2026 N. Philip Shelton Humanitarian Award.
Presented by the Vincennes Kiwanis Club in cooperation with Good Samaritan Hospital, the award recognizes a Knox County resident who has made an extraordinary and consistent effort to improve the well-being of others.
Nominees should demonstrate a commitment to meeting the physical, social, economic or educational needs of people in the community.
Nominations are due October 1st, with the award scheduled to be presented in November.
