Knox County economic development officials are joining business and government leaders from the Midwest and Japan for an international conference in Indianapolis.
Knox County Indiana Economic Development CEO Chris Pfaff is among the Southern Indiana representatives attending the Midwest U.S.-Japan Association Conference.
The gathering focuses on expanding trade and encouraging Japanese investment in Midwestern communities.
Governors, other government officials and business executives from both countries are taking part.

Pfaff took part in conference activities Thursday, giving Knox County a presence as economic development leaders work to make new business connections and promote opportunities across the region.
