Indiana Women’s Suffrage Event

Explore the chronological history of women’s suffrage during the Indiana Women’s Suffrage Event. A celebration of 100 years of Hoosier Women’s Right to vote will be explored on Wednesday, September 2nd. Doors will open at 6:00 PM, the program will begin at 6:30 PM.  This event will explore the chronological history of women’s suffrage in Indiana through historical costumes and songs. Marsha Miller will host a talk entitled “From Amanda to Zerelda; Hoosier Suffragists Who Raised a Ruckus.” Seating will be limited to 50 people on a first come first serve basis. Masks are required for this event that will be held at the Vincennes Fortnightly Club located at 421 North 6th street in Vincennes.  You can also join the program online on the Shake Library Facebook live stream.
