Daviess County has a new Superior Court Judge.
Dan Murrie has been named to the judge’s chair by Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb.
Murrie will replace Judge Dean A. Sobecki who retired last week.
Murrie has been the Daviess County Prosecutor since 2010.
Prior to that he was the chief deputy prosecutor in Daviess County.
A date for Murrie’s swearing in has not yet been set.
