Dangerously cold weather continues.

Arctic high pressure over the region is allowing for wind chill values of -10 to -20 throughout the region.

A quick moving weather disturbance may produce up on an inch of snowfall this evening and overnight.  This could result in slippery surfaces

A prolonged period of frigid temperatures is expected to continue through the week.

Air temperatures will fall to the single digits for parts of the area Tuesday into Tuesday night. Wind chills may approach -20 degrees for parts of the area.

The bitterly cold temperatures will raise concerns for ice jams along area rivers and streams from late this weekend into next week.
