A local baker is leading a national contest.
Jenna Simmons is the owner of Jenna’s Bakehouse on Main Street in Vincennes and she is currently vying for “Greatest Baker” through an online competition.
Winning the title comes with a $10,000 prize, being featured in “Bake from Scratch Magazine” and chance to learn from the Cake Boss, Buddy Valastro.
She is currently 1st place in the quarterfinals of the competition.
Fans of her establishment can vote online in this latest round until 10-pm tonight at greatestbaker.com.
