Knox County Library Director Emily Bunyan has told us that the main library in Vincennes will not be open today. (Wed-3/13/24).
She says that it’s because of an unforeseen mechanical issue discovered at around 5-am this morning.
Storytime was cancelled, however the McGrady-Brockman House on North 7th across from the libary is open until 5:30-pm today.
The public meetings at the Fortnightly Club and the Meeting House are going on as planned.
Meanwhile, a Vincennes Civitan meeting on special education that was scheduled to be held at the library this evening has been moved to the Meeting House at 6th and Hart Streets.
