The question on how we know when an eclipse will occur will be discussed at Vincennes University’s next Total Eclipse of the Heartland event.

The program will be presented by VU Math Professor Nancy Riggs who will talk about how to know when an eclipse will happen, why they don’t occur every month, and how to know how long they will be.

It will be at 11-am Thursday on the VU campus at Updike Hall in Room 143.

The event is open to the public.
