Vincennes-based ag-tech company TerraForce has secured $375,000 in an oversubscribed fundraising round, highlighting strong investor confidence in its AI-driven robotics for specialty crop farming.

Founded in 2024 by farmer-turned-entrepreneur Mike Jacob, TerraForce aims to solve the growing farm labor shortage with autonomous robotic systems that offer 24/7 operation, improved efficiency, and reduced contamination risks. The company’s first product is set to launch for the 2025 harvest season.

Jacob says the investment validates TerraForce’s mission.  He says farmers are seeking reliable, efficient, and data-driven solutions to their labor and productivity challenges and the funding accelerates their development by expanding the engineering team and refining the company’s technology to offer farmers a more profitable and sustainable future.

TerraForce is affiliated with The Pantheon, a local nonprofit supporting innovation and entrepreneurship.

The announcement is the latest in The Pantheon’s mission is to foster innovation, attract, inspire, and support new and existing businesses and entrepreneurs.
