The Blazer plays an ALBUM ADULT ALTERNATIVE Format, also known at (Triple-A)

Our Active Adult format is a highly targeted, radio magnet for active adult listener. This is the ideal format to establish your organization’s name and location and describe your main products and services to an active adult consumer through your underwriting support message.

WVUB is currently ranked #1 Adults 25-54 in Knox, IN and our surrounding contiguous counties in Southeastern Illinois and Southwestern Indiana. -Nielsen SP2026/FA 2025

Meeting the target listener’s Key Needs:

MUSIC: Blazer 91.1 WVUB fuses new music discovery with current hits and a solid mix of proven hits from the past. The Blazer is music-intensive radio for adults with a relatable and entertaining presentation, along with a variety of promotions and information programming.

NEWS & INFORMATION: After music, information is one of the single most important reasons why adults listen to radio.  That ‘need to know’ covers regular news, weather, local community issues, and lifestyle and entertainment stories. Blazer 91.1 WVUB meets this need with coverage from our own First City News room.

THE MISSION:

COMMUNITY— at WVUB we seek to support our community and provide a connection point across our broadcast and digital channels including; broadcast, social media, mobile and text services. The Blazer provides numerous opportunities throughout the year for leaders from our community to come on-air with us and discuss current issues and future plans. Your underwriting helps support our community outreach efforts throughout the year.

• Run of Schedule Placement: Monday – Sunday, (6 am-Midnight).
• Spots air on 91.1 FM and stream on wvub.org

• 300×250 pixel medium rectangle ad on all pages of wvub.org.
• The ad may be linked to a unique URL.
Average of 50,000 + impressions per month.
$250 per month or $100 per month with on-air air schedule (minimum $150 value)
