Joe Herron updated our listeners about the progress of the park after the storm damage in April. The park will be opening soon following the new guidelines from the CDC due to the Covid 19 pandemic. The park lost 28 tress on their 28 acre grounds due to the straight line wind damage. The park really missed having the annual school field trips. They did a facebook live virtual field trip, but Ranger Herron said, “it just wasn’t the same.”
