Mark Hill informed our listeners about the ways that the UW is helping during the Covid 19 pandemic. The group has been able to revive assistance from several business totaling over $40,000. The UW has also been the recipient of several grants including the Eli Lily grant for economic recovery. This particular grant helps with long term impact due to pandemic. The grant will help with remediation of schools and other long term issues. The UW is working with the Knox County Community Foundation on this project.
