A popular seasonal event happens tonight at the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center.
The VU Performing Arts Department will present the annual Christmas Gala Concert featuring the VU Jazz , Woodwind, Percussion and Brass Ensembles, as well as the VU Concert Band and Choir and the VU Connection.

Doors open at 7 with the concert starting at 7:30.
Jackson says some choral students and faculty will provide some pre-concert entertainment in the lobby.
The concert is free to attend.
