The Vincennes University student Representative for the Board of Trustees is working on goals for their 2nd term.

Gayle Baugh of Greencastle, Indiana made history this fall by becoming  the first-ever two-time appointee to the board.

The appointment came from Governor Eric Holcomb.

Student trustees serve as a bridge between the university administration and the student community.

Baugh’s vision is to continue a commitment of fostering strong connections between the board and students.

Baugh co-hosted an event Tuesday called Sweets with Student Leaders where VU students were encouraged to enjoy sweet treats while talking with student leaders and sharing suggestions on how the University can enhance their experience.

Baugh says the hope is to get out to the student population even more in order to detail what students want to see.

Baugh also commented that work has started on getting some ideas from the past year implemented.
