A springtime tradition continues in Jasper on Saturday.
The 22nd annual Chalk Walk Arts Festival will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Thyen-Clark Cultural Center. Hosted by Jasper Arts, the event features sidewalk chalk art, bounce houses, balloon art, caricature drawings, t-shirt tie-dyeing, and make-and-take art activities for kids.
New this year is a special interactive musical performance by SQUONK—part of Jasper Arts’ 50th anniversary celebration. It’s described as a unique, interactive musical performance complete with loud giant musical instruments
Registration is $12 at jasperarts.org/chalkwalk and includes a cinch sack, chalk, and more.
Organizers say it’s a fun and creative day for all ages.
