Station Info

WVUB-FM  is a non-commercial 50,000-watt public radio station located on the campus of Vincennes University in Vincennes, Indiana. The Blazer, WVUB-FM, is found at 91.1 on the radio dial and is part of the Vincennes University Broadcasting Program. We feature an Adult Album Alternative (Triple A) format, plus local and NPR newscasts and information programming. In addition to our staff of professional broadcasters, students are provided with opportunities to participate in a variety of activities through our Broadcasting program.

 

Vincennes University

Vincennes University (VU) is a public university located in Vincennes, Indiana.

Founded in 1801 as Jefferson Academy, VU is the oldest public institution
of higher learning in Indiana. Since 1889, VU has been a two-year university, although baccalaureate degrees in seven select areas are available.
Unlike most other two-year higher-education institutions, however, VU is a residential campus and has been since its inception over two hundred years ago.
