A Fort Branch man faces charges following a vehicle-versus-pedestrian crash Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Locust and Walters Streets just before 2:40 p.m. after a car hit a pedestrian on a scooter. The victim was flown to an area hospital.
Investigators say 30-year-old Jon Roeder was driving a red 2006 Chevy Cobalt when the collision happened. Roeder was later taken to Deaconess Gibson for a blood draw and medical clearance before being booked into the Gibson County Jail.
He’s charged with Driving While Suspended with a Prior Conviction.
