The trial date for a Linton man accused of murder is set for December.
39-year-old Brian Criss was arrested earlier this week and officially charged with murder, arson and other charges in connection with a mobile home fire on June 8th in Linton.
Authorities found 69-year-old James “David” Higar dead in the home from injuries not related to the fire.
At the initial hearing, Ashley Dyer was appointed as Criss’ attorney and a pretrial conference was set for November 5th and a preliminary jury trial date was set for December 2nd.
