Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes is receiving national recognition for its outstanding workplace culture. The hospital was named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Health Care 2025 by Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group.

The honor places Good Samaritan among a select group of healthcare institutions nationwide recognized for strong employee engagement, workplace satisfaction, and organizational integrity. It’s also one of only a few hospitals in Indiana to receive the distinction.

The rankings were based on a comprehensive analysis involving over 400,000 employee interviews and 4.9 million company reviews. Factors included work-life balance, leadership, compensation, and employee satisfaction.

In a statement, Good Samaritan credited its caregivers for the recognition, saying, “This celebrates the outstanding culture, compassion, and dedication of our caregivers who make Good Samaritan a great place to work—and an even better place to receive care.”
