The Vincennes Animal Shelter is thanking the community for its support after taking in dogs from yet another hoarding case.

Officials say the incident happened Saturday evening in Gibson County, where fourteen dogs were surrendered. The shelter accepted ten of them—all in extremely poor health. Staff say the animals were emaciated, neglected, and suffering from medical issues requiring urgent care.

The shelter is asking for help with their recovery. Monetary donations are being accepted in person by cash, check, or card, by phone at 812-882-8826, or by mail at 1128 River Road in Vincennes.

They’re also welcoming donations of small-breed dog food, cleaning supplies, blankets, treats, and other items that can be dropped off during business hours.
