UPDATE: Gibson was located on Thursday 10/2/25. No other details were released.
Greene County authorities have put out the call for help in locating a missing person.
53-year-old Jefferey Gibson was last seen in southern Greene County last month.
The sheriff’s department says a text message from Gibson sent to a friend on September 14th said that he was going to Indianapolis and he has not been heard from since then.
