
An autopsy is planned today on a woman found deceased in Warrick County Sunday. Indiana State Police say foul play is suspected in the investigation.
The woman was discovered near a boat ramp in the Bluegrass Fish and Wildlife Area on New Harmony Road near Klippel Road after being spotted by someone fishing in the area on Sunday afternoon.
Investigators worked for about 24 hours to identify her putting out a detailed description to the public asking for information. At around 2:30 p.m. Central Time on Monday, authorities said they had learned her identify. As of this posting, her name had not been released.
The investigation is continuing and state police continue to ask anyone who has information on the case to call them at 812-867-2079. Callers may remain anonymous.
