Vincennes University is renewing its Housing Scholarship for the 2026–2027 school year.
The program offers fifteen hundred dollars per year — seven-fifty per semester — to incoming and returning students who apply for campus housing by June first. It applies only to VU residence halls and is limited to U.S. citizens and permanent residents.
President Chuck Johnson says the scholarship supports VU’s mission of access and affordability, helping students focus on academics and campus life.
University officials say students who live on campus generally see stronger grades, more involvement, and easier access to tutoring, dining, recreation, and support services. A national study also found first-year students living on campus had higher GPAs than those living off campus.
