The Pantheon in Vincennes is marking Global Entrepreneurship Week with a series of events aimed at supporting local innovators. On Monday, Vincennes Mayor Joe Yochum and Knox County Commissioner Kellie Streeter issued an official proclamation recognizing the week in both the city and county.
Today at the facility downtown, the focus is on collaboration and innovation with networking opportunities for founders and small business owners. A RED Talk will feature Carson and Whitney Thacker discussing how they built their business as a husband-and-wife team. Local high school students will also take part in an Innovation Sprint designed to encourage problem solving and entrepreneurial thinking.
The week concludes Friday evening with the Harvest Gala, a Pantheon Ag Tech fundraiser at 428 Main Street. Doors open at 6 p.m. and tickets are $125 per person. The event includes dinner, live music, a silent auction, and a fireside chat with Indiana State Department of Agriculture Director Don Lamb and TerraForce founder Mike Jacob.
