Outgoing Knox County Chamber of Commerce President Jamie Neal has revealed her next career move.
Neal announced earlier this week that she was stepping down from the Chamber after accepting a new professional opportunity. On Thursday, she confirmed she will take on the role of president of the Indiana Chamber Executives Association.
The association supports leaders and staff of local chambers across Indiana by providing training, professional development, and shared resources to help chambers better serve their business communities.
In a statement, Neal said her experience leading the Knox County Chamber played a key role in preparing her for the statewide position. She also thanked the chamber’s board, staff, and community partners for their support.
Neal’s final day with the Knox County Chamber is January 23. Chamber officials say a search committee will be formed to begin the process of selecting new leadership.
