
Knox County deputies made a drug-related arrest during a traffic stop Tuesday afternoon.
Deputy Levi Archer stopped a minivan on South Hart Street Road near Stagecoach Road after a license plate reader flagged the driver as suspended.
Knox County Chief Deputy John Fuller reports the driver was identified as thirty-one-year-old Joshua Graber. A passenger in the vehicle, forty-two-year-old Peggy Baker of , was also found to have an active probation violation warrant.
During the stop, deputies say methamphetamine was found on Graber, and a K-9 alerted to possible drugs inside the vehicle. A search turned up additional methamphetamine and dried mushrooms inside a pill bottle.
Both Graber and Baker were taken to the Knox County Jail.
Graber faces charges including driving while suspended and possession of methamphetamine. Baker was booked on the probation violation warrant and a new charge related to drug possession.
