Vincennes University will host a Valentine’s Day basketball doubleheader on Saturday, February 14, with proceeds benefiting cancer research and patient support in the local community.
The event, titled Blaze to a Community Cure, features men’s and women’s basketball games at the VU PE Complex. Tipoff for the evening begins at 4 p.m.
In addition to the games, Vincennes University Athletics will host a silent auction, and event T-shirts will be available for purchase before the games.
Organizers say proceeds from ticket sales, the silent auction, and other fundraising activities that night will be donated to Good Samaritan to support local residents currently undergoing cancer treatment.
