A weekend accident investigation continues in Gibson County. Details on the Saturday incident were released on Monday.
Authorities say the crash happened around 3:54 a.m. on Interstate 69 near the 34-mile marker.
Emergency crews arrived to find a driver who had been ejected from the vehicle and was in critical condition.
Investigators say a 2014 Ford Fusion was traveling northbound when it left the roadway, entered the median, crossed a ditch, and flipped multiple times.
The driver, identified as a 22-year-old male, was treated at the scene and transported to an area hospital.
The Major Accident Investigation Team, a joint effort between Princeton Police and the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office, is leading the investigation.
