Two scholarships are now available for high school seniors with ties to Decker High School alumni.
The Decker Alumni Association is offering the Jim McCormick Scholarship to a 2026 graduate of South Knox High School. To qualify, the student must be a direct descendant of a Decker High School graduate, including a parent, grandparent, or great-grandparent. Applications are available through the South Knox High School guidance office.
A second award, the Decker High School Alumni Scholarship, is open to 2026 graduates from other area schools. Applications can be picked up at North Knox, Lincoln, or Rivet high schools. Students who live outside Knox County can request an application by phone or email.
That scholarship also requires applicants to be a direct descendant of a Decker High School graduate.
For more information, students can contact members of the Decker Alumni Association scholarship committee.
