The Knox County Soil and Water Conservation District has received a $10,000 grant from the Duke Energy Foundation.
Officials say the funding will support outreach and education efforts related to watershed projects. Planned efforts include hosting public events, mailing information to prospective participants, and providing one-on-one consultations with homeowners, landowners, and farmers.
The district says the goal is to share information and increase awareness about available programs.
