South Knox School Board members have hired new leadership for the corporation.
During a special meeting held at 9 p.m. Thursday because of current sports activities, the board approved hiring Toby Like as the new principal of South Knox Middle-High School and Joe Keller as interim superintendent.
The leadership changes come as the corporation continues to deal with declining enrollment and revenue concerns.
Earlier this month, the Vincennes Sun Commercial reported that during a regular school board meeting, South Knox officials announced the corporation will move forward with a reduction in force, likely cutting two certified positions and five non-certified positions.
The district is also considering a local online school option as a way to help retain students and state funding.
