The Knox County Fair is just over a month away, and organizers say they’ve lined up a full week of activities for all ages.
The fair runs July 14 through July 19 with daily livestock shows, contests, and Grandstand events. Highlights include the Miss Knox County Fair Queen Pageant, ATV rodeo, Show & Shine night, pig penning, and a demolition derby to close out the week.
Family-friendly contests like the Tiny Tot and pedal tractor pulls will take place in the VU Pavilion, and Friday night will feature a comedy show by Irreverent Warriors.
Ground admission is $5, and kids 10 and under get in free. On Saturday, admission to the fairgrounds is free for everyone, but Grandstand shows are ticketed separately.
