The first-ever Vincennes Pickleball Classic is set to bring well over 100 players to the courts later this month.

During Monday’s city council meeting, Council member Reginna Blinn — who also represents the Vincennes Pickleball Club — shared details about the upcoming tournament. As of Monday night, 150 players had already registered, coming from Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, Illinois, and across Indiana.

“So even if you’re not a pickleball player, come out July 25th, 26th, and 27th and watch some of the games. We’re having a 5.0 division, which is semi-pro. And what I’ve been told is some of them that are coming are very elite players. We’re really excited about it in our little pickleball community, but I think it’s something everybody in Vincennes could come and enjoy,” Blinn said.

Blinn also thanked local businesses for stepping up to sponsor the event, saying their support has been key to making the tournament possible.

The tournament will be held July 25–27 at Gregg Park. Registration ends this Friday. More information is available through links on our website.
