Expect more of the same conditions we’ve seen recently—highs in the 90s with heat index values near 105. Skies will range from partly to mostly sunny, with a continued chance for isolated showers and thunderstorms over the next couple of days.
On Sunday evening, scattered storms brought heavy downpours, localized flash flooding, and some power outages.
A cold front is expected to move through midweek, bringing an increased chance of storms. After that, forecasters are calling for cooler and more pleasant weather to wrap up the week and carry into the weekend.
