The area is remembering beloved dentist Cyrus Darrell “Darrell” Deem, who passed away last week at the age of 68.
Dr. Deem was born February 18, 1957, in Vincennes, and was the the longtime owner and operator of Deem Dentistry in Washington. where he cared for patients for many years. He was also a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church and was known for his enthusiasm for Indiana University athletics and his love of pickleball.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Washington. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to support IU student athletes through the Athletics Director Team Fund at the IU Foundation, the Washington YMCA, or the Washington Catholic Education Endowment Fund.
