The Lawrence Allison Fire Association was called out around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday for an overturned semi on westbound U.S. 50. Crews arrived to find the driver trapped inside the vehicle and quickly began an extrication.
Emergency personnel shut down the highway while the scene was cleared and the semi removed. By about 8:30 a.m., all units had cleared and traffic was reopened in both directions.
