The second City-Wide Large Item Disposal Day in Vincennes is this Saturday from 8 to 11:30 a.m. at Republic Services, 2706 North Second Street.
City residents can drop off large household items for free, such as furniture and mattresses.
Construction debris, tires, paint, electronics, and hazardous waste will not be accepted. A photo ID is required to verify city residency.
The effort is a partnership between the city of Vincennes and Republic.
