
A drug investigation has led to an arrest in Fort Branch.
Gibson County Deputies say the incident happened Wednesday night shortly after 10:25 in the parking lot of Sandy’s Pizza on South Main. Deputies Michael Bates and Eric Powell conducted a traffic stop on a black 2000 Chevy Silverado as part of an ongoing drug investigation.
The driver, 50-year-old William Luke Myers, was taken into custody after what officials described as a brief investigation at the scene.Deputies say they found methamphetamine and two firearms in the vehicle.
Myers was transported to the Gibson County Detention Center and booked on a charge of Possession of Methamphetamine with a Firearm.
Deputies Wes Baumgart and Sgt. John Fischer assisted, along with Owensville Officer Steven Parker.
