The Pantheon in Vincennes is on the search for a new CEO.

At Monday night’s Vincennes City Council meeting, Council President Brian Grove — who serves on the Pantheon Board — reported that CEO Nichole Like resigned during a board meeting last Friday.

Like has led the business and innovation center since its opening in 2019. In a written statement to First City News, she said The Pantheon “has always been more than a building. It represents what is possible when a community chooses to invest in its own people and ideas.” She added that as she prepares to “pass the torch,” she does so “with deep gratitude and confidence in what comes next.”

Reflecting on her six years of leadership, Like said she’s most proud of the team that helped transform the historic theater into “a place filled with purpose.” She noted that The Pantheon has become “a working prototype for how to build and sustain a rural innovation and entrepreneurial hub,” and credited the community for believing “that rural places can be centers of creativity, technology, and opportunity.”

Like’s last day is November 21st.

Meanwhile, The Pantheon continues to move forward with upcoming events. A community networking breakfast is scheduled for Monday, November 17, beginning at 8 a.m. The morning gathering will feature coffee, breakfast treats, and a proclamation signing declaring the start of Global Entrepreneurship Week at The Pantheon.

Later this month, The Pantheon will host its second annual Harvest Gala Ag Tech Fundraiser on November 21. Doors open at 6 p.m., with tickets priced at $125 per person. The evening will include dinner, live music, and a fireside chat with State Agriculture Director Don Lamb and TerraForce founder Mike Jacob.
