Vincennes City and Township Fire Departments responded to a house fire Wednesday night.
No injuries were reported in the blaze at 1112 Broadway.
Division Chief Jeff Latta told First City News crews arrived shortly after the 7:40 p.m. call to find heavy flames and smoke coming from the structure. Streets in the area were shut down, and firefighters attacked the blaze from the outside only due to its intensity.
The home was vacant and owned by a neighboring property owner.
The Indiana State Fire Marshal was on scene today to investigate the cause.
