Indiana State Police say a search warrant led to multiple drug-related charges against a Carlisle man.
Police say troopers, with help from the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Department, served an arrest warrant Tuesday at a home in Carlisle for 61-year-old Oscar McCammon. The warrant was for possession of methamphetamine.
After McCammon was taken into custody without incident, officers applied for and received a search warrant for the residence.
During that search, police say they found more than 90 grams of methamphetamine, about a pound of marijuana, prescription pills, drug paraphernalia, cash, and 15 firearms.
McCammon was arrested and faces several charges, including dealing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of a firearm by a violent felon.
Police note all charges are preliminary and will be reviewed by the prosecutor.
