Good Samaritan has received a three-year accreditation for its inpatient rehabilitation program.

CARF International awarded the accreditation following an on-site review of the program. A three-year designation is the highest level CARF offers.

CARF stands for the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and is an independent, nonprofit organization that evaluates health and human service programs worldwide.

Hospital officials say the review focused on patient care, outcomes, and how services are delivered and measured.

This marks the eighth straight time Good Samaritan has earned a three-year accreditation for inpatient rehabilitation.
