The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department is seeking information regarding a hit and run that occurred on December 23rd.
Deputies say a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle around five-fifteen that evening while running along 1000 North near 700 East in the Odon area. Investigators say the driver did not stop and left the scene.
Authorities report the impact knocked off the vehicle’s passenger-side mirror. That mirror has been identified as coming from a silver Ford Crown Victoria, likely a model from the early two-thousands.
A witness told deputies the vehicle was quiet and may have been displaying a handicap license plate.
