The Knox County Commissioners are looking to fill several open positions on county boards.
Commissioners President T.J. Brink says the county is seeking residents interested in serving in a volunteer role on a number of boards and committees.
Openings include the Alcoholic Beverage Board, Drainage Board, Mental Health Advisory Committee, Public Defender Board, Redevelopment Commission, and the Unsafe Building Board.
There are also openings on the Freelandville Sewer District board, which requires applicants to live within that district, and the Health Board, which requires applicants to be a physician.
The Property Tax Appeals Board also has two openings, one for a Republican and one for a Democrat.
Anyone interested should submit their name to the Knox County Commissioners by January 13th.
