Story from Indiana Public Broadcasting

President Donald Trump says he is actively working to defeat Republican Indiana State Senate leader Rodric Bray.

In a social media post, Trump said he will work “tirelessly” to remove Bray from office. He also warned the senator, writing, “We’re after you Bray… like no one has ever come after you before.”

Trump previously threatened state Republican leaders last year after most Indiana senators rejected a plan to redraw the state’s congressional maps to favor the GOP in the midterm elections.

The renewed criticism of Bray comes as Virginia Democrats move to flip Republican-held U.S. House seats in that state.

Bray’s current term runs through 2028. His office did not respond to a request for comment from WFYI.
