Indiana State Police say the recent severe weather has kept troopers busy across the state.
From Saturday through Wednesday this week, officers have responded to nearly 4,000 calls for service.
That includes investigating 828 vehicle crashes and responding to more than 500 slide-offs.
Troopers also assisted more than 1,000 stranded motorists statewide.
Police continue to urge drivers to use caution as conditions improve and cleanup efforts continue.
