A wood manufacturing facility in Winslow has reduced its workforce.
Company officials say Stella-Jones eliminated 10 positions at its Winslow operation. The facility employs about 45 workers.
The company says the decision followed a review of its operations.
In a statement to Evansville media, Stella-Jones says the move was made as the company works to align its production capacity with what it calls an evolving industry landscape.
The company also says support and resources are being offered to workers affected by the layoffs.
Stella-Jones manufactures pressure-treated wood products used in infrastructure, including railway ties, utility poles, residential lumber, and other industrial wood products distributed across North America.
